Meet the face behind Milestones in Motion:
Alysia Cashion, OTD-S
Hello everyone!! My name is Alysia Cashion, and I am a 3rd year occupational therapy student at UCA. For my doctoral capstone, I have developed a pediatric respite care & community program.
The focus of this program to develop a community program for the pediatric population in Cabot, AR. . The program will provide respite care for children and young adults aged 2 to 21 and will feature community meet-ups and teen night outs.
The purpose of this program will not only address the therapeutic needs of participants but also foster a sense of community and connection among families. By offering various activities and resources tailored to the unique developmental stages of children aged 2 to 21, this project will enhance social skills, emotional well-being, and physical health, ultimately creating a positive impact on the pediatric community in Cabot.
